As important as corporate strategies are, they tend to be very abstract for employees. Not anymore! For bol we organized ‘Our Housewarming’, a strategy day in Tivoli, Utrecht. Using our empathy and creativity, we made bol's strategic house tangible and showcased the exciting opportunities for employees to play an active role. We served up two mind-blowing shows with top-notch video content, homemade music, delightful surprises, housewarming gifts, and heroic bol colleagues taking the stage. Through real-life engagement with the strategy’s core content, the event brought people closer to bol, the management team and each other.

Empathic listening can really spark the best ideas! Internal research we did at bol revealed that employees craved a deeper sense of knowledge and ownership in the company's strategy. And so, Strategy Day came about. An inspiring, annual event that enabled employees to really internalize the new complex strategy in an easy way with plenty of good vibes. Craving satisfied.
